We enjoy one of the biggest memberships for a natural history society in Scotland. Our monthly meetings and lectures in the West End of Glasgow attract people from all over Scotland interested in natural history; we also have members living in other parts of the UK.
The Society has an excellent natural history library, publishes its own journal and newsletter, and provides grants for the study of natural history.
We also arrange a full programme of events throughout the year in Glasgow and district, and occasionally further afield. These are designed to appeal to and bring together the amateur and the professional, the expert and the beginner.
